More information

This will be a great day out for you, your friends and family leaving from Budapest with our comfortable minibus with friendly, English speaking driver. Other then the famous, must see sights we will show you some unique, genuine Hungarian places only locals like us know about.

Your first stop will be the famous Benedictine Monastery which was founded in 996 by Prince Géza who designated this as a place for the Benedictine monks to settle and then it soon became the centre of the Benedictine order. Géza's son, King Stephen I completed the construction. From the time of its founding, this monastic community has promoted culture throughout central Europe. This is a UNESCO sight today.

On demand we can stop by a beautiful horse farm for horse riding and wine tasting.

After visiting the monastery we will take you to the baroque town of Gyor in Western Transdanubia nearby. The Romans settled here and they named the place Arrabona, after a local Celtic tribe.

Price of the tour is 77 €/person on the basis of minimum two people are signing up. We can give discount for bigger groups.
