L'Huillier Castle in Edeleny, Northern Hungary

This is one of Hungary's most imposing castles built in Baroque style. Situated north of the city of Miskolc, Northern Hungary. The castle has 6 rooms decorated with Rococo frescoes and the 5 Copf style tile heaters are still intact as well. The ironwork gates that were put up in the castle in 1910 became the symbol of the city.

The name of the castle refers to a French man called L'Huillier who came to help Hungary fight against the Turkish army. He built and lived in this beautiful mention.

You can take castle tours every day except Mondays.
